Amnesty International
Global - LGBTI* Network Meeting
Groups, sections and regional offices discuss, strategise, and collaborate on Amnesty’s work on LGBTI rights. Two global meetings are planned: one in April and one in September 2021. First meeting in April is focusing on sharing plans for LGBTI work in 2021 on IDAHOT, Pride, and trans rights.
Topic
Pride, IDAHOT
Together with you, we would like to collect as many ideas as possible at the network meeting and push them forward. We need to initiate a dialogue jointly to exchange knowledge and ideas. The best of the collected thoughts, we will implement at IDAHOT, TDOR and the various Prides.
Creative Method
World cafe
After a short intro, on Friday, we will brainstorm in three thematic groups. The facilitators will stay in each group; everyone else will switch and work on all the topics. The facilitators will then present the results briefly in plenary. We will decide which ideas to implement in the final vote.
Please already have some thoughts about the questions.
Pride - campaign idea
Amnesty will set a spotlight on World Pride in Copenhagen. More on that will be presented by Nadia Rahman (IS) on Friday. What are your general thoughts and feedback on the main idea?
Pride - section contribution
How can you as a section contribute on the Pride campaign?
IDAHOT
This year's theme on International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia is the impact of COVID-19 on LGBTI people. Start with the report on «Protecting the human rights of LGBTI people during the Covid-19 pandemic» for developing ideas.
